The Intellectual Disability ID drive or Tootsie Roll drive is coming up soon. As part of the drive we have a GoFundMe page where everyone can also donate. The GoFundMe proceeds go to the same fund as the Toosie Roll proceeds. This only works if all knights share the GoFundMe page in your Social media (Facebook, Instagram etc.) starting now today and at least once a week until the drive ends. Thank you all and we are looking forward to your participation as well on Friday September 13th from 7AM to 7PM, and Saturday the 14th from 7AM to noon to collect money on the streets. No sign up necessary just come to the old church lower level ACL for your street intersection, vests and tootsie rolls and work as long and whenever you like during these times. Also, Saturday 5PM mass in the back of church and Sunday the 15th at 8AM and 10PM masses. Thank you brother Knights for all you do for this worthy charity. All proceeds go to local charities including the Cupertino home for the disabled across the street from St. Irene’s parish. Our local K/C counsel 6710 receives no money except to pay for drive expenses and pay for tootsie rolls. The first principal of the Knights of Columbus is Charity and here it is upon us now.
