Sister Roseann Eck Passes to Eternal Life Jan. 31
Sister Rosie spent many years at St. Irene as Pastoral Associate until her retirement at which time she moved to Congregation of St. Joseph House in LaGrange Park. Her passion was to minister to hospital patients and to manage the St. Irene Food Pantry. In 2017 he celebrated 70 years as a Sister of Joseph. Prior to St. Irene’s she spent many years as an elementary school teacher in Archdiocese of Chicago Catholic Schools.
The funeral for Sr. Rosie will be Monday Feb. 5 at 10:00 AM at the Motherhouse in LaGrange. Fr. Jim will celebrate. The wake will be on Sunday from 1-4. More to follow.
