Pat Kemp St. Irene Woman of the Year

St. Irene Council of Catholic Women is very pleased to announce that Pat Kemp has been named our 2018 CCW Woman of the Year.  Pat has been an active member of St. Irene Parish for many years and has devoted her time and talents in so many of our Ministries. She is an active member of the Ladies of Columbus, of which she is the current President, and she acts as a liaison between the Ladies of Columbus and the Council of Catholic Women.  For those of you who don’t know, Pat is also a very talented seamstress and quilter; she has used her quilting talents to make our beautiful church banners.
Pat will be honored at the Cathedral of St. Raymond in Joliet on April 21 at Mass at 10 am, along with Women of the Year from other Parishes.  Our celebration with Pat here at St. Irene will begin on Sunday, May 6 at the 10:00 AM Mass, followed by our annual May Crowning, where Pat will place a crown of flowers on Mary.  A 4th Degree Honor Guard will also offer a Honor Guard. A luncheon will conclude the festivities.
Please join us as we celebrate the gift of Pat Kemp!
