Feb. 7 Super Bowl Raffle Raises $4300 for Council Programs

the  2021 Virtual Super Bowl Raffle.  Your purchase of 255 tickets by 103 individuals over three boards  brought a total of $8325.  As in past years 1/2 of the ticket sales are awarded as cash prizes.  The remainder plus cash donations gave us a net of $4300.  Since there was no raffle party there were no party expenses.

Ticket sales were conducted entirely virtual in the sense that there was no physical contact.  Publicity was conducted through the newsletter, parish bulletin, and council web site.  Yet, we exceeded last year’s ticket sales of 254.  The raffle, itself, was held during the football game virtually at the Halama Home by opening up a Zoom link.  There were as many as 5 connections at one time.

The early bird winners were Marc Alleuzzo and Chuck Ingram.  The top prize winners: $500 to Ralph Dieter and James Halama; $250 to Susan Wolfe, Terry & Janet McMahon, Roxanne Morello, Tom LaRocco, and John Looby; $125 to Dana Wolze, Tim & Marty McMahon, and Marie Slater; and $100 to Andrew White, John Looby, Council 6710, and Loyola Nuclear Medicine.
