The St. Irene Knights of Columbus is partnering with SCARCE, a local environmental education group, to collect bread tags for the “Danielle Cares for Chairs” charity. Started by a 17-year-old high schooler, this non-profit collects and recycles bread tags to acquire wheelchairs and mobility assistance devices for those in need. Tags can be dropped off at the St. Irene ACL on the weekends of August 28-29 and September 4-5 only. The collection box will be located by the ACL door closest to the church or just inside that door.
