Hello Knights-camp flyer 2017
Our campers are cheering, as registration for Special Camps has begun! Can you please help us spread the word, invite your friends with intellectual disabilities to a week long summer vacation in Oregon, IL.
Special Camps is an all volunteer run camp, endorsed by the Illinois State Knights of Columbus for kids and adults ages 7 – 70 with intellectual disabilities.
When: June 4-9 for adults
June 11-16 for kids up to age 21
Location: White Pines Ranch in Oregon, IL (1/2 hour West of DeKalb)
Transportation back home to West Suburbs available
Cost: $300 for the week. That’s about half of our actual cost. The Knights pay for the other half. Some scholarships are available for those in need.
Activities: swim, ride, groom and paint horses, archery, field sports sing and dance, talent shows, crafts, gold mining, and woodworking during the day. Night time parties include hayrides, dances, bands, campfires with s’mores and bonfire songs, line dancing, magicians, performing in a parade and more!

Ben cannot wait and has been on the site anxiously awaiting the application! Printed it out and sees his Dr on Tuesday ! He is already counting down the days on his calendar he received for Christmas!
