Glen Kussman to Receive Cardosi Award May 6

We congratulate Past Grand Knight Glen Kussman on becoming the St. Irene Council’s most recent Cardosi Award Recipient.  The Recognition Dinner hosted by the Joliet Chapter of the Knights of Columbus will be held Saturday May 6 at the Elmhurst Council.

For those who wish to attend the recognition dinner download the Reservation Form from the Joliet Chapter web site.  Dinner is $30/person.  Advanced registrations only.  Seating is limited, send in your RSVP early, and no later than April 28.

In award application Glen was recognized for these accomplishments:

Glen was born and raised in the Lutheran faith.  His wife was born and raised in the Catholic faith.  The children would ask each Sunday, “Whose church are we going today?”  So after many discussions, Glen took on the Catholic teachings, where they as a family grew with the St. Irene’s Community.  It would be through St. Irene’s that he joined the Knights of Columbus organization.  He has been very involved in many aspects of this great organization from becoming Grand Knight, becoming 4th Degree, and helping with many fundraisings projects they have.

Glen is always ready to help.  Sometimes even too eager.
