St. Irene Council to Sell Hambergers, Hotdogs, Sweetcorn at Warrenville Fourth-of-July Celebration

Monday July 3

  • 5:00-11:00 PM Concession Booths open
  • 7:30 PM—New Odyssey

Tuesday July 4

  • Noon—Children’s Parade on Warren Ave.
  • 2:30 PM—Double Identity Pop Rock Girl Power
  • 5:00 PM—Centerfold Chicagoland’s Great Roll & Roll
  • 7:30 PM—High Infidelity
  • 9:15 PM—Fireworks

       All concession, beverage and beer stands open at Noon. During the day there are water fights, horseshoe contest, bingo & prizes, pickle ball, face painting, and karaoke.

 

March in 4th-of-July Parade, Monday July 3

     The theme of the parade is “Fifty Golden Years”. Show your pride and march along with Council Sir Knights. The parade starts at 6:00 PM.   The KC 4th Degree Honor Guard will lead, with other Brother Knights and their Families invited to march. Assemble at the parade starting point in downtown Warrenville by 5:30 PM.

 

Council Food Stand at Cerny Park July 3-4

     Plan on joining your brother Knights & Families at Cerny as we cook our famous burgers and sweet corn. Grillers, cashiers, set-up crew and general helpers are needed.

     Best of all! Come gather with your family around the Knights concession area for the Fireworks display!

 

     A volunteer sign-up form is available on the Council web site. Follow the link to “Council 6710 July 3-4 Food Concession.” to see the schedule: The period of time help is needed is as follows:

July 3

  • 11AM—Set-up begins at St. Irene’s Parish storage garage.
  • 3:00 – 11:45 PM—Concession booth operates. 2-3 hour time slots available.

July 4

  • 11:00 AM – Set-up begins at Cerny Park
  • Noon – 9:15 PM—Concession booth operates. 2-3 hour time slots available. Fireworks at 9:15 PM
  • 10:00 PM—Concession booths closes and clean up at Cerny Park

July 5

  • 9:00 AM—Cleanup at St. Irene (subject to change).
