Mar. 28—Knights of Columbus Easter Party for Special Needs Citizens

     Families of those with intellectual disabilities and autism (kids and adults), are invited to join us for a free day of fun at the DuPage County fairgraounds Come and enjoy lunch with other families, and join in on a host of fun activities designed especially for the entire family.

     The Knights will provide a nice luncheon with Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches, burgers, brats and a taco bar. Please feel free to pack a sack lunch or special utensils for any family member who may need an alternative meal. A microwave / fridge will be available for you.

Sponsors: 

  • St. Irene Council—Provide bottled water and coordinate the tractor to pull the hay wagon (and someone to drive it). The fairgrounds should have a hayrack to borrow. The Council is donating $250.
  • Winfield Council—To provide the grill cooking supplies meat and keep food warm.

All:

  • Provide as many volunteers as you can to man the grills, the hayride, the Easter Egg hunt, help with crafts, and invite your youth groups to help serve our guests.
