After a three-year hiatus, our Council will once again be hosting a food stand during the Fourth-of-July celebration at Cerny Park.. Plan on joining your Brother Knights & Families at Cerny Park as we cook our famous burgers and sweet corn. Events are as follows:
Sunday July 3
· 5:00-11:00 PM—Concession booths are open
· 6:00 PM—Superheroes & Warrenville-ans Parade; starts Warren Ave.
· 7:45-11:00 PM—Music by Centerfold; Main Stage
Monday July 4
· 12:00-9:00 PM -Concession booths are open; closes early for fireworks
· 12:00-3:00 PM—Karaoke, opening flag ceremony, water fights, horseshoe contest, bingo
· 7:30-9:00 PM—Music by Hi Infidelity; Main Stage
· 9:15—Fireworks
Grillers, cashiers, set-up crew and general helpers are needed. The schedule is as follows:
Sunday July 3
· 12:00 PM—meet at St. Irene Church parking lot/garage to load equipment and then proceed to Cerny Park for setup
· 3:00 PM—Volunteers needed to prepare foods for concessions.
· 5:00 PM—Concession booth opens – Need help to grill, shuck corn, package food items, and sales
· 11:00 PM—Concession closes, need help to close down concession for the day.
Monday July 4
· 10:00 AM—Volunteers needed to prepare foods for concessions
· 12:00 PM—Concession booth opens – Need help to grill, shuck corn, package food items, and sales
· 9:15 PM Fireworks begins. Food concession closes.
· 10:00 PM—Close down concession and begin to pack equipment back into trucks.
Tuesday July 5
· 10:30 AM – Volunteers to meet at St. Irene’s church/garage to clean and store equipment.
