The St. Irene Knights of Columbus are again partnering with SCARCE, a local environmental education group, to collect bread tags for the “Danielle Cares for Chairs” charity. Started by a 17-year-old high schooler, this non-profit collects and recycles bread tags to acquire wheelchairs and mobility assistance devices for those in need. Tags can be dropped off at the church entrance collection box on the two weekends of September 10-11 and 17-18 only.
Additionally, we will be collecting old, unused keys of all types for recycling. Tags and keys can be put in the same collection receptacle.
Thank you for your support!
