The Knights of Columbus express our deepest condolences to the Family of Sam Vitale (age 87). Sam was born in Chicago, IL. Sam joined the Knights of Columbus in 2016, and became a fourth degree Sir Knight in 2017.
Sam had served as usher at masses at St. Irene’s for many years. He was an Army Veteran and also a resident of Naperville, IL for many years.
Sam was the beloved husband of Carolyn Vitale (nee D’Orio) and the late Margaret “Peggy” Vitale (nee Bresnahan), loving father of John Vitale, Lisa (Brad) Graveline, Beth (Paul) Malik, Michele (Kevin) Drews and Brian (Cary) Vitale, loving stepfather of Patricia (Charles) DiGiovanni.
