Mar. 15-16—March For Kids

You may know of Mercy Home for Boys and Girls as the producer of “Mass at Mercy Home;” a weekly Sunday service aired on WGN-TV. But Mercy Home also is a Chicago-based, Catholic-founded refuge for vulnerable children and young adults. Many youths come to Mercy Home having faced tremendous hardships including poverty, housing instability, violence, loss, and more. But with the full-time care, counseling, and education they receive at Mercy Home, young people can break the cycles of abuse, neglect, and poverty.

The St. Irene Knights of Columbus Council is participating in this year’s annual Mercy Home fundraiser, March for Kids, in support of Mercy Home’s mission. Knights will be collecting donations outside of the church after Masses during the St. Patrick’s Day weekend – Saturday, March 15 to Sunday, March 16, 2025. If you can, please be generous to this worthy charitable organization. Feel free to contact Joe at jdrk4715@aol.com if you need additional information.
