Apr. 5-6 & 12-13—Bread-Tag, Key, & Soda Tab Collection Drive

The St. Irene Knights of Columbus are again partnering with SCARCE, a local environmental education group, to collect bread tags for the “Danielle Cares for Chairs” charity. Started by a 17-year-old high schooler, this non-profit organization collects and recycles bread tags to acquire wheelchairs and mobility assistance devices for those in need. Tags can be dropped off at the church entrance collection box on these two weekends of April  5 and 12.

Additionally, we will be collecting old, unused keys of all types for recycling for the Keys for Conservation program.  Tags and keys can be put in the same collection receptacle.

Finally, we will be collecting pull tabs or pop tops from soda cans to benefit Ronald McDonald House.
