Dec. 16—Shrine of Our Guadalupe Pilgrimage

Plans have been finalized for a church-wide pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Des Plaines on December 16, hosted by our Knights Council.  See below for event schedule.  A Mass led by Fr. Clive, a walk around the Shrine grounds including free time at the religious gift shop, and a short presentation about the story behind the Shrine and lunch afterwards at a local Mexican restaurant.

There is no cost to attend the service or the Shrine.  Monetary donations will be accepted to benefit the Shrine.  Also, candle and flower devotions to Our Lady are encouraged.  The Knights have graciously provided funding as hosts of this parish-based event.

Transportation is on your own. Carpooling is urged leaving from St. Irene church to and back from the Shrine.  For more information, please contact Joe Kubal at jdrk4715@aol.com.
